WE HELPED NASA LAND ON THE MOON
One of the top highlights of the past year has most certainly been to work with NASA on getting the moon into Unreal Engine for the training of astronauts as well as to create simulation models. The moon, at scale, was a massive amount of data to manage, but Edge Visual used Houdini to get the negative height maps into the geometry and export into Unreal Engine so that it could be worked on by remote teams in realtime with the help of nanite.
